I'm sure this has been answered before ad nausem, but I couldn't find any threads in my searchs.
My Canonet's RF patch is just a hair off vertically. How do I fix this?

Oh, thank you G-Man!!! All the pages I pulled up on Google had me taking the top off. I didn't want to do that.
What's the best way to unscrew the "button"? I can't seem to get a grip on it with my fingers.

Thanks again!! I'll have a go at it later. Way too tired tonight.

I got the chrome button off, but the screw behind it was for the horizontal alignment, not the vertical. Guess this means I have to take the top off, huh?
Dammit, this is getting frustrating!!! I've got eight RF cameras and seven of them are in some state of disrepair. If my Bessa-T breaks, I'm having a fire sale. :bang:

Well, my Canonet is set up differently then. When I turned that screw, the image in the RF patch went out of alignment horizontially.

OK. What's the easiest way to do that?
Forgive me for asking all these questions. I'm not the most mechanically adept person on the planet (as if that wasn't obvious).

Thanks again, GMan!! I got the metal piece off with a small nail. Came off a lot easier than it had a right to!
Unfortuantely, it's too dark now for me to focus on anything to verify that I've gotten the alignment right. I'll try it again in the morning when there's more light.

GMan: Just wanted to let you know that I am, indeed, an idiot who cannot tell "horizontal" from "vertical".
Meaning, I got my terms mixed up and the screws on my Canonet are in the right places. My brain, however, is not. :bang:
Haven't had time to correct the alignment yet. Hopefully sometime this weekend. I just came into a bag of medium format folders today, so I'm a little distracted.

Now that I've sorted out that whole vertical/horizontal mess AND found a screwdriver that sank all the way down into the hole, I finall got the alignment problem licked.
Thanks again for all your help, Gman!
