I went to a car show at the BenFranklinMiddle School in Rocky Mount, VA, on Saturday the 18th of August, 2012. It was the second one of the day, so I got there kind of late. But the good thing was, they were handing out the trophies and door prizes, so most everyone was over by the grandstand, which gave me the chance to get some good shots without having to wait too much on the people strolling about.
There was also an arts festival combined with the car show, but I didn't have time to peruse the stalls before they started striking their tents for the day. And it was looking like it might rain any minute, so I worked fast to get in as many shots as I could before the weather broke.
