Great 28mm subject. Do you ever carry a monopod for things like this? Doubles as a walking stick for uneven terrain with the sharp screw end out, and the GRD doesn't unbalance it at all. I see a little shake on some edges-- long handheld exposures?

A lot of pics had more shake than what is evident. Did not know if tripods would be allowed but i saw some there. Going back in two weeks and will take a monopod rather than tripod as it is a 5 hour hike. Only 120 miles away from me to park in New Mexico.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. Perhaps you were thinking Carlsbad, California (home of beaches and Legoland -- if you have small children, like me, the oversight is forgiven
Very nice pictures, by the way!

Going back in two weeks. Did not think about taking pictures inside the cave and had it set for outside pics, like snap focus etc. After awhile i realized why some of the pics where coming out blurry so i made some changes to bracketing. Will do some more adjustments before next entry.
Forgot about Carlsbad, Ca. so i should have been more specific. BTW, Batman lives here but he was out on assignment so we did not get to see him. Robin is away at college.
