Has anyone seen a center-grad filter siutable for this lens for sale?
(I have the 77mm adapter)

Thanks

I got a Heliopan brand new from B&H a few years ago that had a step up to 105mm outside diameter. Since you don't need to worry about ocluding the rangefinder/viewfinder, it's not a problem. It shows up on the bottom of the auxiliary finder a bit, but for critical work you can always take the filter on and off. It cost under $200 new instead of the $400 + the straight 77mm filters are fetching. I also have a B+W 105mm metal hood that I use on a Mamiya 50mm shift lens adapted for Hasselblad 201f, but I have not tried using on the 12mm. So far, flare has not been a problem in my 12mm photos.

Ouch, they are not really cheap!

I was hoping to get away with $100 or less. :bang:

Also is a 105mm center grad suitable, won't it end up darkening the corners compared to a 77mm one?

The one I have is a 77mm center filter, but it has a wider outside metal collar that brings it to 105mmout side step-up size. It's not removable. I think that's why it was so cheap new. Probably discontinued special application piece. The new straight 77mm ones I've seen for sale are around $400. Unless you find a philanthropic memeber, or a used one, I think you're dreaming at under $100 for one of these.

Maybe a philanthropic member that wants to sell a used one? :D

I would not really be bothered by a wider outside collar, I am not going to start stacking filters one on top of another, expecially on a 12mm lens.
