Hi folks. I wanted to offer for your consideration a series of images I gathered this afternoon along Central Avenue, the former Route 66 in Albuquerque, an area that's been in much economic decline. These images were made east of Nob Hill. Your comments and critique are welcome.

I stayed in Old Town at the EconoLodge, and saw sites like that. I was there in 2005 and 2006,2007? In 2008 I stayed on Manaul next to the Range Cafe. Nice stuff, looked like what I saw when I was there...

(All times I was on my way to either Durango or Chama for train chasing the narrow gauge.)

You have no regard for Rules that have been set for many years...your placement of the subject matter, lines, Rules of Thirds, subject split in half with a power poles...all seem to work in all those shots...
I really like them all...not sure how they would work in B&W but in color they are fantastic...
It's been a while since I've been in ABQ but I don't remember these scenes...
Thanks for sharing.

These are really interesting! Especially the last two, which rise above being great shots of interesting stuff to being really wonderful pieces of art. Awesome!
