I have wondered about this for some time now... Previously I have been doing some camera repairs, but I just cannot remember how a Leica M is constructed.
After using the M8 for a while, and recently also getting an M7, I have gotten used to having the shutter speeds the ´wrong´ way. Ideally I would like to have an older M as backup, but that would meddle with my new instincts!
So, is it possible to modify an M2/3/4 to have the shutter dial going the same way as on the M8?
I suspect it might be hard - and maybe close to impossible... As far as I remember the shutter is set in the bottom of the Ms, but that is about as far as my memory takes me...
