I did something very bad to my Hassey, I left it outside, naturally not on purpose, in the pouring rain for three hours.
In a Ben's Pizza XXL, Sonnar 150 attached, magazine off and an extra magazine and the planar loose in the bag too, the bag was not even closed up, just folded over.
But amazingly the inside of the bag was completely dry and so is the camera, I stripped it down and there is no moisture to detect anywhere.
So the Chickentex material is definitely capable of holding it's own against the elements.

Snip, it might be worth adding here that a Ben's Pizza XXL is a Crumpler Bag and Chickentex is what those bags are made of . . .

Ah yes, quite right, my brain was not fully bootstrapped yet at the time of writing.
I still think it's amazing the kit did not get wet..
