Another day, another thrift store find
Went to the local thrift store to help a friend carry home a shelf, took a look in the camera locker and saw this weird camera with barn doors and what looked like red mocha, googled it and bought it. Got my self a Chinon Bellami limited red edition with flash module for 75SEK ($11.50).
Put some batteries in the camera and flash, it worked, so I put a roll of film in it. The advance lever feels smooth without film in the camera, but with film it feels kind of 'choppy', unsmooth.
Question: Is it also rather unsmooth or choppy on your Chinon Bellami?

Yes, my (black) Bellami feels a bit "scratchy" when advancing the film.

Yes, it does feel choppy on mine too. I'm thinking it has something to do with the absence of the tension the film gives the spool when you wind it.
