I noticed this morning that the most recent active classified items are now displayed on the front page. I also noticed that three shown were items that I listed and were already sold. Your classified ad will expire naturally given the term you set for it, but I thought it best to delete my sold items so that others can be shown on the home page.
I will not delete anyone else's ads, but ask that if you have an item showing on the home page that is sold, please consider if you should delete that ad to allow other items to appear.
Thank you for this consideration.

Is deleting the items a good idea? Can the expiration date of an item be modified? I ask because the old ads provide buyers and sellers with an idea of market prices (or at least, RFF market prices). Without this information, it's easier to pay too much/sell for too little.
Just my 2 cents.

I think the system will automatically delete them at expiration so the history is going to be lost anyway.
I just thought is seemed fair to others that their items be seen since mine were already sold.

I see... I guess it's a good idea then!rover said:I think the system will automatically delete them at expiration so the history is going to be lost anyway.
I wonder if it's possible for the ads highlight to be changed so that only items that are ending/expiring soon are shown, or maybe have a random display?
please dont delete them. its always good to search old stuff.

Did you say Nippon Kogaku
When I go to visit my ad there is a little box that has EDIT or SOLD...I sold the CL and afterwards I clicked on the sold tab...hoodini...the ad disappeared.
I guess you have to click sold before the ad disappears.
