I recently bought A tamron hard lens case for my tamron 17a. The case is actually for an 09a model, so it's a tightish fit, but I don't mind that.
The trouble is that the case stinks. It's not as bad as it was, as I've used dettol anti-stink anti-bacteria spray, I've also used that anti-stink srpay which I can't remember the name of, and I've tried disguising the smell that was left by using boot polish on the outside.
I did all this over a few days, after each previous 'treatment'/'ruination' was dry.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to wash these lens cases?
I wouldn't expect to have to shove it in my washing machine 😀, but some sort of hand wash?
Any help would be much appreciated.
