Cleaning/ polishing plastic VFs, etc.

Just a tip for all you DIYers. I've found a product from Germany made for watch crystals called "polyWatch" that does wonders on plastic. Use on a Q-tip, then clean thoroughly w/ window cleaner liquid. Removes scratches/ cloudy film, etc. to optical clarity--beats toothpaste / Flitz because its a much finer abrasive.

Maybe you can use on glass but perhaps not---would remove lens coatings and glass may be too hard--I don't know.

I'd hesitate using anything abrasive on plastics. It may remove scratches, but it also removes gloss..

Maybe so....but it's made my clear plastic "glossier" by removing minute scratches, etc.
