Hi guys, firstly, Happy New Year to all (it is already 2006 in Perth, Australia)!!! ...

Now, here's the subject matters ... Coming from DSLR, I most certainly appreciate the portability of RF. But one thing I don't fancy is the RF window in that I'm (stupid enough to) constantly putting fingerprints on it. I carry a microfibre cloth with me and use it when needed, but often the residue oil flim will flare the viewfinder... not cleaning it will flare as well  . Is there a better method to clean or keep the window clean?

When I'm at home, a good swip with a clean Pec Pad and Eclipse will do a good job. But when I'm away from home, these tools are not always available...

Any advice is much appreciated, thank you.

Regit I have the same problem with getting fingerprints all over my cam's viewfinder. :( I just use whatever is handy which is generally my shirt. :) It seems to work well for me but then I don't live in a very sunny area so I don't experience flare that much.

Hi Peter, thank you for the comment. And indeed, Perth (and Australia) has too much sunlight for her own good!!! :)

Try a small container of Windex and some Kleenex (plain, not the lotion-type) in your camera bag; works fine for me on vacations to dusty places

Thanks Dave :) I am reluctant to use Eclipse when I move around simply because it is highly flammable and I was once stop at the airport for bringing a bottle onboard!!! Windex may be more acceptable :) , I'll give that a go.

Thank you for the inputs, guys :) I like the LensPen idea ... but as for Bob's suggestion ... errrr .....
