As I was headed out for some shopping, the storms were starting to build for the evening. So I took along a new acquisition, one of my two dollar cameras that I got because it was in the bag I was buying at the flea market. An Olympus Stylus Zoom 140 DLX, it was loaded with some Kirkland Signature 400 (made by Agfa) that expired in 2002 (judging from the other roll that was in the bag, and still in the box). There were already four photos taken on the roll, so I was hoping they were nothing risqué while I dropped it off for development at CVS, and scanning onto a Kodak CD. Just some folks enjoying a boating day on the lake. The rest of these didn't come out too bad, considering the age of the film, and the low light.

I did some work on them in PSE10 to clean up the scans, bring out some cloud detail, cropping, and making the panorama. The colors look great on this ten year out of date film, although I don't think the latency was all that hot. The first four shots were somewhat fuzzy, but all mine came out decent. That is until I tried some close-ups without knowing the focusing range of the lens. Cei la vie

Not a good time to be on the patio.

What a view from my front door. A four shot panorama.

As I made my way down the hill, this was the last spot of clear sky.
