I've got a collapsible Summicron that front focuses, so I need to move the optical block towards the mount slightly.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I've serviced several other misfocusing lenses like Soviet and Canon rangefinder lenses, and those were straightforward: unscrew the front part of the lens block and grind down or add to the brass shim.
Is the focus on the collapsible Summicron adjusted with a shim? If so, does anyone have instructions on how to dismantle the lens?
This is my "knockabout" lens - and paying up to £100 for a pro service will stop it from being a cheap lens that I don't have to worry about... so, I'm keen to do it myself.
