I've been shooting the 21 on film for a while now and was only so-so in my oppinion of th lens... but it was the only wide I have for LTM so I just used it (it wasn't that bad)... now I think the problem is just scale focus innaccuracy...
recently I got an E-P1 and started using this lens on it. To test the adaptor I brought out the tripod and tape measure... the lens mostly back focuses... so it is sometimes correct. Anyone else note this erratic behavior from the lens? I'm wondering if it is just a funtion of the extremely small throw of the focus.
What really bothers me is that the 50/2.5 focuses perfectly to the scale... but this is a FL that I am less likely to scale focus on m43.
Also, the error is within the DOF of the lens at f4 which is why I probably didn't catch it with film use, but with the reduced DOF on m43 the focus will be unacceptable... not to mention that you pixel peep more on digital and it bothers you more.
Anyone else see this from the lens? It's out of warrantee...
