I sent two rolls of Pro160C to Fujilab in the UK - they came back fuzzy with non-saturated muddy colours.

Sent a roll to another lab. They came back at what seemed like about 80dpi off their digital printer. My next try is peak-imaging - their professional product.

Fujilab used to be very consistant. They've always been laser prints, but I was happy with the quality, although it was expensive and the turnaround was rather slow.

Has anyone any experience with any other labs in the UK - or with peak-imaging? Do any UK labs produce wet prints or is it all lasers and bubble jets?

I bought some Pro 160C recently as i'd never used it before but so far have only shot half a roll (hope to get it finished tomorrow). It was my intention to try Fujilab but I don't think I'll bother now. I'll probably use Peak again. I've used them in the past and the results have always been very good. Their B&W is good too. My shots of the rock bands in my gallery were processed by them and scanned to CD. Not the best examples to judge them by as they were taken on Fuji 800 in a Pentax Espio Mini compact.

Peak seem very popular and professional. They even called me on my mobile phone while I was holidaying in Wales with a query about my order. Better that than just process and we argue about the results after like some labs would do.
Give them a call and get a catalogue from them as they offer lots of services.
They are not the cheapest you can find but if you are going to use Pro film then this won't bother you.

Hopefully I will have something worth putting in my gallery for you to see.

Sent a roll off to peak yesterday. As I've bought two boxes of 20 X 36 Reala from speedgraphic for the equivalent of £1.69 per roll - all well in date - I hope that the folks at peak-imaging do a good job - otherwise ASDA had better get ready for 40 rolls of Reala.

I can imagine the eye-rolling allready.
