Had a lightbulb go on in my head as I was cleaning below my work/repair bench. I have a ton of camera parts, screws, pieces, bits, blah, and more blah. I would never toss the stuff in the trash but it’s really only useful to someone else tinkering with camera repair.

Let’s start a sticky where you can post up parts you have or parts your looking for!

If we can each make the effort to clean up our older posts with a “claimed” or “finally in the trash” or best case “Found” I think this could work nice!

What do you think?

(Stipulation being these parts should be offered for Free, Trade, and/or for Postage Costs)

Zorki/FED body casings
Zorki/FED shutter crates
Zorki/FED top plates and bottoms (models 1)

I like this idea. I hope it moves forward.

I happen to need a bezel for a Zorki-6 RF window. --the RF window on the wind lever side of the body.

All I currently have as spare parts are a box of lenses, mostly zooms and mostly second-rate brands, but a few Tokina or Sigma types. I might have a parts OM body still (can't remember which model), and I know I have a parts OM 35-70 lens. I got rid of most of my parts boxes and only kept the Leica bits
 
More parts free for postage:

Hasselblad 500c body shell, lens mount, and mirror box. I also saved very carefully the leatherette if anyone needs a replacement piece.

Nikon MD-3 motor drive complete. Has new Sover wong brass gears installed. This was my personal drive until I purchased a "working" F2 from Adorama that had a jammed motor drive coupling and promptly blew some switch inside. I have the Seiko motor if you need it as well it is tested working. The brass gears alone should make this worth postage!

Still in search of Nikon F parts. Specifically a Ftn Prism battery cap.

Just a FYI for anyone. I believe I have 3 or 4 take up spools that will work in your Zorki/Fed/Leica/Canon LTM RF if your missing one or want a extra ;)

Also adding a Hasselblad wind knob.. the boring old round one for your 500 series. Trade me a roll or two of film for it if in need! Ship4Ship Ill never get around to listing it.
 
This is a great idea. Organ donation of sorts, rather than have useful parts go to rubbish...

I am looking for 2-3 grub screws for the external barrel of a 50mm Summicron v3, M-Mount. Will send a picture, and try to estimate their length.

I will look through my stash of photo equipment to share what is available as well...
 
I know but its old and a lot of whats listed is not currently relevant.

Hoping we can replace it with this thread. Any maybe recycle the thread every year to keep the offerings fresh. As well as encouraging those who participate to maintain their posts.

Edit: So this would be the 2019 thread with a little bit of a late start.
 
OK. Same post both threads:

Contax RTS, in good shape and working with one exception: Exposes correctly at f/5.6, progressively off exposure as you change f-stop. Mark Hama says he can't fix it; must be an electronic part. Available for parts to anyone here. PM me and we'll figure out shipping.

Thinking ahead, I would propose a google sheets document so we don't have to look at each post from the beginning of the thread.

column headings could be: donor, camera, part description, claimed/unclaimed

Pentax SP1000...Complete Chrome body, shutter jammed
Nikon F2...Chrome body, top plate Serial number side great condition,Film Advance side dented, missing bottom plate, film door, self-timer lever, shutter curtains not seated properly, still a lot of parts on it. Serial# F2 7485573

Aires 35 IIIC...Missing Film Advance Cap and has Oily Shutter...Looks great...

I HAVE: Kodak Retina Reflex IV body. Exterior looks great. Seems to wind, but, on release, there's no mirror or shutter activity. You pay shipping only.

I NEED: Chrome rewind knob for Olympus OM-1.
I NEED: Screw (and washer?) to attach rear swing-up sight, Crown Graphic.
 
Yashica Electro 35CC for parts. Electronics likely shot.
Olympus Mju Zoom, electronics shot.
Can get individual parts for you out of a Minolta XD-7/11, will keep to rest as a parts donor for myself.

I also have a dead Ricoh GR (1st APS-C model) and would like to work something out with someone who also has one. On mine the lens won't extend properly, maybe someone else's has a broken display?

Could a mod make this a sticky please? The sticky thread referenced in an older post here doesn't seem to exist any more.

No longer need an OM-1 rewind knob.

Still need the bits for Graphic swing-up rear sight.

NOW, I've acquired a couple of Chinon bodies, CE-3 and CM-3, both missing their Chinon badges. Bad glue, apparently. Looking for said badges, or, more likely, Chinon cameras or parts that I can slice and dice, to make some stick-on badges.

I really like the idea of this thread. But, we all have so much stuff laying around, it's not practical to list it all. Posting parts needed is more feasible, if people are reading. Maybe a forum sticky?
 
I could use a Prontor SVS shutter. Doesn't matter if it's dirty or stuck; I just need one internal part to fix a broken unit.
