Comparative film speed: Tri-X v. Hp5+?

I'm about to start shooting the HP5+ (135) that I bought during the amazing 2-pack sale at B&H. Having pretty well dialed in my Tri-X/D-76 combo at 320 ISO developed for 9.75 min., I'm wondering what speed will work well (as a starting point) for HP5+? Do you find it faster or slower than Tri-X, or about the same?

I've no experience with D76. I find HP5+ is looking great in XTOL at 400!!!!! TriX might be a bit nicer grain wise so I use TriX for pushing (1600 in Rodinal 1:100).

i like hp5 at 400. i've used d-76 1+1, tmax 1+9, tmax 1+4 and ilfosol-3 1+9. i like it best with tmax 1+9, rated at box speed, 70F for 12 minutes, gentle agitation.

I have never been able to tell a difference in speed between Tri-X, HP5 and Neopan 400 over some 10 years of using them all. I expose and develop them all the same even shooting different emulsions the same day and developing them in the same tank.

If there are differences, they fall into the everyday tolerances of metering. Possibly some scientific test may disclose some minute differences but in real world photography, they are the same.

I've found I get the best results rating HP5+ at 200 ISO and developing for 11 minutes in D76 1+1.
