said if you use a wide angle lens with small aperture (like F11)
does it means that you can get closer than the closest focus on lens?
said the closest is 1 meter... but the range for F11 go way beyond 1meter.
does it means i can shoot at 0.9 or maybe 0.8 and still get focus?
thanks.

I often push the limits on the close focus by stopping down but the dof isn't symetrical at the close limit of a lens focal range. The engraved dof range is only a guide and I find that at closest focus, the nearside field may be improved but only marginally.

Focus in photography means a lot of things. But Focus is so much more than the mere sharpness of the image.
Depending on what you’re focusing on, you can make a subject stand out or blend into its surroundings. You can create stories with your photographs by using the camera’s focusing ability to your advantage.
