In honesty it comes with a g1 and the full compliment of other lenses ... I'm tempted to buy the lot and flog the lenses I'm not overly interested in (one being the 16mm)

They tend to go for around 900-1200€ on ebay - depending on whether the seller is open to sales to "unsafe" countries like China or Russia. BIN offers upward of 1400€ heve been out there for months or years, so that is above the going rate.

Last weekend one sold at 1099€ in auction with 30 bids, so that will be pretty accurately the current street price. As I said, many dealers sit on more expensive ones, but I haven't seen a single one of them move in years...

The Hologon works perfectly well on the G1, having been released along with it - you may be thinking of the 21mm, which came with the G2 and will only work on the "green label" later firmware G1. It however is still possible to perform a firmware update at the remaining service points (at least in Japan, the US, UK and Germany).
