Hi,

I'm the new guy, JF Felinik, living in France but originally from Sweden.

I was trying to find some nice pics of the beautiful G series + lenses, but not a lot of if here in this forum, so let's change that!

Here's my G1 + 45mm (I have a 28mm on incoming during next week).

Nice idea! Here are my two. I love the G2 for the wides, I shoot the 16 & 21 the most - with the Frankenfinder - and sometimes the 28. Just out yesterday with the 16.

Almost like an Xpro but much, much nicer IMO ... more balanced styling.

Welcome to RFF JF

A repeat from the Cameras and Coffee thread a long while ago but I like it enough to bring it up again.

Thanks!

Ah, nice concept, coffee and cameras, I like!

No hood? I now have a hood, found a "third party" for $9 on ebay...

The aftermarket hoods on ebay & their dedicated caps are quite nice. Not quite as nice as the originals, but plenty nice.

Here's one of mine on a RFF outing. Riding the Amtrak rails.

Sepiareverb should recognize this lens.

I do! Missed it so much I got this older sibling:

I like the hood available from Japan Exposures quite a bit. Pricey, but minimal intrusion in the VF and takes a standard ø58 cap.

That zoom is the only G lens I've not used. Tho I'm down to the wides now, the 45 and the 90 are also missed. The 90 is one of the crispest lenses I've ever used. How is the zoom Kent?
