ok, the most common T2 is the silver.... and then I have seen glossy black and even gold....but I have also seen one in a dark grey ( and to confuse matters, Keh.com has a dark grey for sale that they list as "black" )
Are there 4 colors >?

I had a hard look at my TVS in different light, it looks grey when I have it near a paper lamp with three energy saving bulbs. It could be a trick of the light, or in other word, bad lighting and worse post processing.

well, I just recieved a dark grey ( titanium ? ) Contax T2...and since I owned a "silver" one, I can tell you this one is dark grey... the question is...does a BLACK contax t2 exist or is the dark grey one, called black?

Never heard of the platnium version. I think the first post was correct: four colours. Like I said above, the silver one is fine but the black version is a thing of beauty.

The answer is yes, yes, yes with 4 four colors.
T2 was voted European camera of the year 91/92 and Contax released limited amount of regular version so-called Titanium Black (dark grey in reality) and Titanium Gold. They only cost slight over the standard siver titanium version. In 1992, Contax released real "collector" version of T2 which is 24-carate gold-plated over solid titanium then lacquered to prevent wear. It is limited edition with world-wide release (?)2000. It has large Contax 60 years on the front right lower part (4th photo) and comes with walnut case carved from solid block of wood and hard leather case. Its s/n starts with country of export followd by 3 digits. It cost about $1500 (1200 sterling pounds in UK at the time of release). Above infromation from the special edition of UK Amateur Photographer celebrating Contax 60 year edition supplement. I think it did not sell well and some dealer may still have brand new ones available. FYI, I only have the standard silver one which started my addition with Contax/Zeiss nevertheless

I'm not sure where you confirmed it, but I've owned four of the FIVE T2 finishes. They are:
(1) Champagne titanium (sometimes called silver in this thread), the original and most common finish.
(2) Dark gray (black) titanium, the most attractive finish in my opinion.
(3) Black lacquer (sometimes called black paint) seen in one of the links in this thread.
(4) Gold plated (atrociously ugly).
(5) Platinum (or platin in French), an extremely rare version originally sold in Switzerland.

I have seen a BLACK shinning paint T2 in a local camera shop here in Japan just few weeks ago. It should be still available now as I remember seeing that black T2 everytime I pass by the shop
It is confirmed black, not grey but pure black. Comes in a black box as well
Price? It is an used item and I remember is around US$500+-. Condition should be excellent to mint, but I did not ask the shop owner to take out for me to inspect.

Just to confirm there is a platinum model called platin, I saw it with my own eyes on sale at a map camera in Shinjuku, Tokyo yesterday. They were asking 130,000 yen. The gold model is certainly not atrociously ugly.
