I love my T3, bought it from someone on the forum. Of course, after 10 rolls the take spool tooth was worn enough that it won't recognize film.
The one guy that talks about using a headless screw, won't post a picture, others say use a specific glue that I did try, but it didn't work.
The camera is at Nippon now, although they said they no longer have parts and that means using a headless screw.
Anyone know where to buy parts? Has anyone fixed this, and care to post their solution with photos?
I really want another T3 but these stupid eBay prices are just stupid.
Side note is anything as good as the T3?
My fav photo with the camera

I dug up the webpage on how to repair it:

There are lots of P&S cameras that are as good. I’ve got three Konica Big Minis, and finally got a fourth parts body for a repair job that’s been on hold for almost a year, heh.

D'oh!
Not auto focus, but the Olympus RC and RD are excellent. Not quite as small, but great lenses. Also cheaper and easier to fix.

The first T3 I bought more than a decade ago came with a tiny screw, not headless, just a pan head one, affixed to the spool. The pan head served as a hook to secure the film leader. Worked very well, until the camera disappeared on a flight to Frankfurt.

Get a Rollei 35 S, its Sonnar HFT lens is plenty as good as the T3's and it plays in another league as for build design and quality. Plus, it's a 100% mechanical camera, which means you won't have to rely on some cantankerous electronics over time.Side note is anything as good as the T3?

Can you post a photo? I want to be sure it is what I think you mean before giving advice.
