has anyone ever tried the elefoto-c/y-leica-m-adapter?how is focussing working?

no but with a Novoflex adapter. I use my CZ 2.8/21 SLR lens on a M5. No problems
(of course you have to use an external finder)

i see the only advantage to use zeiss(c/y) on leica-M-mount cameras:
1. mechanical camera with real motordrive
otherwise i can use yashica fx-3-versions.
2. silent shooting

i didnt know novoflex has such an adapter. maybe its hidden on their website.
btw: there is a c/y- xpan/tx-1-adapter from china. see the other thread. hard to get. but possible. its easier shooting panorama with monopod or string and shiftlens and yashica fx-3 or contax.
