So Cosina makes lenses under the Voigtlander and Zeiss labels, with parts of the build shared across the lenses. The main difference being the coatings and optical design of the lenses I guess.
Is there also a different look to the images taken with these lenses? What would be the Cosina/Voigtlander look, and what would be the Cosina/Zeiss look?

I've shot both, I would characterise the Zeiss as sharp, contrasty with more saturated colours and a 'pop' to the images, whereas I think the Voigtlander are just a little less of all. I've sold all my Zeiss M mount lenses as I found them a bit too much. I love those Voigtlanders I do have - if starting from scratch, I'd struggle to justify buying Leica (older ones) vs CV.

Why not have the best of both worlds: it works for me. Cheers, OtL
