Cows and other farm critters . . . post yours

Came upon this friendly herd yesterday. They were lying in the sun until I walked up to them. Gradually they all rose to their feet (well, hooves, anyway) to approach me. Friendly bovines. Post yours. These herd lives about a mile from my home in NJ. All shot with my new CV 15 on an M8. Lovely little lens.

Voici c'est Caroline! A Swiss cow on an Italian mission in a francophone African nation...

And Little Jerry Seinfeld and Snowball II, my chickens. Or, rather, my rooster and my hen. As they are vehemently racist, they refuse to allow me near, and I am waiting on my 250mm lens to get some better shots.

I believe those are Golden Comets, my favorite breed! They're very bold and unusually smart for chickens. When dinnertime rolls around, they're always first in line by the kitchen door, and sometimes actually wander into the house.

Really really love the Canon Serenar 50mm f/1.8 -- cracking piece of glass. I'm sure there are better 50mm's but for an average picture taking bumpkin like me; this is sure the best 50mm I've ever had. Works a treat on my M2. RIP Kodachrome (these are all KR64)
