hi
does anyone use rechargeable CR-2 batteries?
if so, do you have a brand to recommend?
or suggestions where to get them?
they seem less common than the standard rechargeable AA or AAA
Thanks in advance

Sorry, but I've not had a lot of luck with rechargables. I shot Nikon F4's for a long time, and shot a lot, so I tried several kinds of rechargable batteries there and found that they were more trouble than they were worth. Nothing like the life of the e2 batteries I was using. I'd try to find someone with experience using them in the same camera before shelling out on a set-up.

Someone pointed me to rechargeable CR-2 batteries, but the capacity doesn't look too promissing, less then AAA NiMH.
The G2 works fine with 4 NiMH AAs in the BP-8 cradle but the G1 has problems with 4.8 volts. So I buy CR-2 batteries, I find them usualy for some 1.50 Euro on Ebay, the local photo store sells them for 5.50 :-(

I too buy my CR2 batteries from eBay. Much cheaper than the shops which want £6 (US$12, €9) per battery. I can get 2 for £4 from most suppliers there. The rechargables I don't think are worth the investment.
