Just landed! ....

Found myself in the RFF.

Looking around to get my bearings.

Looks like I will fit here.

Just need to "fiddle" a bit to get my head around the technology that drives this space.

I am a multi-camera'd person, primarily RF these days, but with a history of Hasselblad. More details later, if relevant.

I prefer film, but use digital, both RF and DSLR.

I am a bad delegator, consequentially I do ALL my own processing, both colour and B/W.

BTW, I will share in the "free beers" and conviviality I saw being offered in another thread here

Welcome aboard. Most of the members use all types of cameras, RF, SLR, Digital. It's a fun place.

Well, I started in Australia, but still not sure where I am now!

Gotta work out how you guys (& Gals) include personalized images and other details in your posts. I am sure you don't type them every time, do you?

go to the top of the page and hit the 'user cp' button. (user control panel)

you can add a signature and avatar if you like.

thumbnail pics can be added to a post by hitting the 'post reply' button and not using the quick reply box. to add a pic hit 'manage attachments' button.

Welcome, erl! Now... I wonder if you know what GAS stands for, because I'd bet you've had it really bad without knowing of it.

Oh Yeah!

I have just bought two(2) digital cameras and a 35mm lens (which I don't need now, but that is another story).

Just to put another spin on it, GAS where I live has just hit $1.30/litre!!

This is a good place with friendly folks - I think you'll like it. Plenty of Aussies here too...

 
Yea Peter, I recognised him as well i.e. "Erl from Australia" Nice to have you over here Erl. I think you will enjoy this board. The atmosphere is very polite and sort of like walking into your favorite pub where everybody knows your name and they are always glad you came...... hey, I should make that into a song! :p
 
O.K. Now that I have kicked my shoes off and got comfortable, I guess it's time to work on uploading some images.

That will be a project for the W/E I reckon.

(Have I just made a rod for my own back?)
 
They got's rules about uploading here Erl. You can only do 5 images max per day. Also, somebody sent me an email and told me not to upload crap either. Wonder why he sent that to me..... HEH!
