Ignore It (It'll go away)
Welcome to this critique thread. Please read the purpose statement and the guidelines/ground rules regarding participation.
Purpose
The primary purpose of this thread is to provide a forum where photographers can give and receive constructive criticism on one another's photographs. By setting up some basic guidelines we hope that this thread will provide a forum where the give and take of honest constructive criticism can help us become better photographers.
Guidelines/Ground Rules
The thread has very specific rules regarding participation. The one basic rule is that you cannot provide criticism on an image or comment in a critique thread unless you also have an image posted. To post an image to this thread you must be a participant. Participation in this thread is limited. Here are the guidelines and ground rules for participation:
• Participation in this thread is limited to 5 photographers
• Participants join the thread by posting their intention. You can simply reply with your intent to join by posting something like: "I'm joining," "I'm in," or just state your name
• Joining is on a "first come, first served" basis. The first 5 to reply become the participants.
• Please, only join this thread if you are able post an image within 24 hours of joining.
• Once the thread has 5 participants, no other photographers can join or participate in the thread
• Once the thread is full of participants all photographers will upload their image(s)
• Please abide by any thematic requirement (e.g., landscape, portrait, etc.)
•The number of photos for each participant is limited to one
• Photographers attach photos as thumbnails (no inline images or links)
• Photos should be standard screen resolution (72~90) and the longest side of the image approximately 10 inches in length.
• Photographers post their images supplying titles (if any) and other pertinent information (the amount of information should be minimal)
• Photographers can only comment on their own images and reply to comments only when everyone else in the thread has posted their comments on the image
• Every participant must comment on every photo (except their own—initially)
• Every participant must make at least two comments, one positive comment, and one constructive criticism (which is actually two positive comments)
• Once every photographer has commented then a free flowing discussion begins. It is at this point that every photographer can comment on their own work and reply to comments, ask questions, etc.
• The participants decide when the thread closes.

Yes Vlad
,
we have to wait every member to post their photo and then we start commenting. After the last one has posted his comment on the photos, if we like, we start a free flowing discussion about them.

nico: Very nice, natural, peaceful.
Nachkebia: Another whacky and very attractive photo. Art.
Raid: A wonderful natural portrait. Not at all posed.
NB23: It's fantastic. Great. You must be very pleased.

Here my critiques:
Nachkebia:
I like it! very good composition and framing, I like the eye contact with the guys reflected in the mirror. the guy with the helment in the foreground adds movement to the shot.
Jon:
i like when you push your shots to the limits of abstraction. I like this gorgeous blue too. I think this photo belongs to the "take it or leave it" kind so I have no suggestions for it because i like it.
Raid:
I like the softness here, the warm candle lightning fits perfectly her expression. I like composition too. As alternative i'd like to see better the candle flames with a little underexposition and higher contrast.
Nb23
nice moody shot, with a strong composition. I like the combination of strong graphics elements and human presence. As said for Jon photos, I like this one "as is".
That's all folks!

Nico: This is an image with good composition. Everything is where you expect it to be. One person's eyes look directly at the lens with a strong look, whereas the sleeping boy is a nice contrast with closed eyes. The only thing that I am struggling with are the out of focus hands. Did you choose a large aperture deliberately? If so, then the hands willbe OOF.
Nachkebia: There are three layers of people based on distance to the lens. This added depth to your interesting abract image. Eye contact is present, as is pointed out, and sharpness is there except for the close object.
Ned: Composition is perfect. No room for any changes here. The image is not sharp, but not allimages have to be sharp to be excellent. I feel the rainy mood.
Jon: I like this blue abstract image. It is simple in design, and elegant in its final shape.

Nico: The woman is protectively holding the boy, while she looks at you with tired eyes. I feel that she is talking to you with her looks.
Technically: Focus is as close to perfect as possible. The out of focus hand of the woman goes well here since it is more a symbol of protection. The greys in the image all go well with each other. I like it how the woman starts from the right side of the image as if she is merging into the image.

Nachkebia: The choice of focus point is great. While testbook techniques should be focusing on the subject in front of the image, you chose to make it out of focus instead. If you has focused on the helmet, we would not get clear information on the other people. Now, we see in 3D the other people, and we can imagine how a helmet looks like.

Jon: You spotted what would seem to many others to be a boring object for photography. The colors switch between a blue and a shiny (reflection),which adds to the graphical impact of this simple but elegant design.
