I bought a lens for a Pentax 645 from a Japanese source. I followed the lens, through tacking, to Chicago and to its destination. Apparently, the USPS thinks Texas is a suburb of Osaka as the last tracking info. said the package was delivered there. :bang:
A day later the seller contacted me and said the package would be mailed again. I offered to split the cost of mailing it again since it wasn't the seller's fault. But the offer was politely declined, and I received the lens yesterday. Thank you, Yoshihiro.
Anybody else have troubles like that on imports?

Maybe the U.S. Postal Service had a hard time finding Alba, population 504. I know I did and I lived in the Dallas, Fort Worth, Denton area which was not that far from Alba.
By the way, I know an Alaskan landscape photographer who uses and loves his pair of Pentax 645 cameras. How do you use and like yours?

Customs (or USPS) Chicago Can't Find Texas
I don't know nothing, but I know where Alba is. Now that I have escaped from Houston, I need to visit Alba before it gets hot. I'll bring the 645's big brother.
Enjoy the lens.
