Thanks for the comment Spleenrippa! I really like the 12mm, not as "outrageous " as I thought it would be.

Great shots umcelinho !

I haven't shot any color film with it yet, but here is a full frame digital shot in color...

thanks gdi! and glad to see it works well with the M9. i mostly use the 12mm on my r-d1 though, with an equivalent field of 18mm it is still pretty wide. i haven't been using my 15mm heliar on the r-d1 as it vignettes badly and for the 23-24mm fov i rather use my compact - LX3, 24/2 lens. for film the 15mm is great.

Thanks Gregory, I always thought it would be a rare occasion lens, but now I view it differently.

I like it on the R-D1 as well, it makes a very nice 18mm with good sharpness and surprising lack of vignetting. It is much harder to use on the M9 in my opinion.

Usually I shoot black'n'white with this lens. This time I ran a roll of Fiji Superia 200 (rapidly becoming my favourite drug-store colour film) through the MDa to see what would come out.

Love the downtown Hartford Connecticut shots of the Capitol and the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch.

One of the rare ocassions that I can learn so much about the lens since I've walked the same sidewalks and know the vistas well.

Thanks.
