This modified lens was quite the rage about 8 years ago. I knew several people that had them. They liked it.
Strangely, none of us ContaxG users considered simply buying a cheap Bessa body instead of having the lens modified to work on a ContaxG.

I was surprised to find the guy selling this isn't all that far away from me, I might bite on the auction after all. I don't think I could get into a cv system (used or otherwise) for the price this will go for... but you never know.
