Just took a few shots with the SC version of the CV 40/1.4. This is supposed to be particularly good for b/w and the first results seem to support this - images attached.
Both were processed identically using the Epson Photoraw plugin (except one was converted to b/w). The colour image looks over-saturated right out of Photoraw to my eye (this was an overcast day in DC) - perhaps the result of the single-coating? But the result in b/w is pleasing - although a little contrasty, as David K. suggested..
This has definite possibilities for b/w work.
