Hello everybody, although i am a new member to this forum i've been looking around here for a while. I really enjoyed going through the topics and got some very useful information as well, many thanks for that. But i still got some questions, does any of you have some experience with a CV15 on a M5? Are these experiences good or bad? You see, i have a M5 and am planning to buy me a CV15, i know the lens is good but i wonder if it protudes too far into the body to cause problems with the light meter. I already use a CV21 on my M5 and haven't encounterd any problems whatsoever.

Many regards,

Timo

I can't answer your question, but you have answered one of mine: Does the CV 21 work on am M5? Thanks for that info. I hope someone else answers your question. I would like to know also.

Cheers!

It works fine on an M5. The biggest problem is keeping your finger out of the frame.

Although the last time I mounted it with people around a guy with a digicam asked what the finder was for. When I explained it he said, "What a pain. Why don't you just get a zoom lens?"

Thanks for your replies guys, i will get me a VC15 and mind my fingers. I can understand why people prefer af zooms, very handy and easy to work with. But i happen to like the simplicity of my M5 and mf primes, can't help it. Glad to help you Wayne, not bad helping someone on my first posting.

Regards,

Timo
