Yes , i have bought an excellent Leica CL with 40/2 and 90/4 . Because i am a wide-angle addict i want to buy a 21 mm . CV ist the best for me .
Will my CL have any problems like non-coupling or damaging the exposure meter .
Thank you all...
Of course with an LTM-M adapter ...

I believe the barrel and dimensions are identical to the 25/4 which I used on the CL with no problems. The 25/4 is non-coupling, but the 21/4 should couple with no problems whatsoever, altho with that lens you might find zone focusing is just as effective.

and i forgot to ask something else:
i am new to the modern rf cameras , have been addicted to my grandpa's old but handsome CONTAXIIIa .
Cl has a button on the down left edge for exposure (my stupid english, sorry:) ) How do you use it when you need to shoot a frame immediately . It seems hard for me . And it is not working now . It always shows 1/125 as the right exp . No effect of aperture ...
I have heard something about non-mercury battery expo-meter calibration.
Tomorrow i ll have mine probably repaired but i am not sure about the results , if they are over- or under exposed ...
my thumb hurts....damn button :))

That silver button is the battery test. Pull the wind lever out slightly to activate the meter. BTW, it's a great meter, I find it easier to use than the M6 diode display.

OMG
I don't know how to thank you Mr.T .
Really , i couldn't find that out . That was the best sentence i have read this year ...
Thanks again ...

i agree..it is just as good (if not better) as far as exposure goes, and WAY faster to use than the M6 meter. seeing the shutter speed in the viewfinder is great! the cl is a great little camera, and what i use most. hope you enjoy it bcinar.

Not obvious is it?! Took me a time to work that out too ("Why is this meter working and then not working?").

The CL with 40 and 90 was my first rangefinder (after the Xpan, which I classify as a specialist tool). the CV 21 was the next lens I went for too. I can confirm it works perfectly with the CL, and this camera and these three lenses make a top compact kit. Enjoy!
