CZJ 5cm 1.5 Sonnar at 1.5

I have never had much need to use a fast lens wide open fearing lack of DOF. On a recent vacation I was forced to use it at 1.5 because I had 100 speed print film. I fear no more and will use it wide open when necessary. I like this lens so much it may change my view on the 50mm FL. Seems the Kiev 4a's RF is accurate too. The first photo the focus was on the helicopter's near door frame and in the second it was on the door logo of the amphibian.

Shouldn't that be Kiev Bob?

In any case very nice results from this old lens. This sort of rendering is typical of a nice clean Sonnar. Where were the photos taken?

The shots were taken at the Bush Plane Museum in Sault Marie Ontario Canada. The only quibble with this uncoated lens is flare. this is an example of flare at 1.5.
