There isn't a forum here for daguerreotypes so I figured the General Interest Forum was the best place. Mods: Feel free to move it if appropriate.
Irving Pobboravsky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_l8yl1b4Zc) was my thesis adviser in graduate school. I have a daguerreotype of my wife that he took. It holds an honored place in our home. He is one of only a handful of active daguerreotypists in the world.
