I wanna Voigtlander Prominent with the 50mm, 100mm, and 35mm lenses.

If you're seriously after a Nokton, maybe www.kevincameras.com has something. Never used a Prominent but read some not very good opinions...

That's what I hear too- that it's clumsy and awkward.

I had one. Found it in a "Junque Store" with the Nokton for $10. I repaired the aperture on the lens and replaced missing leather, cleaned it up, sold it for $250.
Is is slow and Kludgy. The Leica, Canon, Nikon, and Retina run circles around it for actually taking pictures.
I now have a Vitessa N and Vitessa T. They get the award for the most difficult to adjust, worst thought out Rangefinder ever. Three set screws holding the mirror against a big set screw in the center, take the top of to adjust, and put it back on to see if you got Vertical and Horizontal alignment correct.

It hurts not to own one of each; but in this case the grass is not greener on the other side of the road. This is one camera that I did not hold onto, and I AM REALLY BAD!!!

Again, we'll see. I have a thing for quirky cameras- prefering the G2 over the Leica for much of the photography I do. I like Kiev/Contax over the the LSM cameras for their quirkiness.
If it's "normal," it's kind of bland to me. I wouldn't mind a camera that is slightly tricky to work, as long as it did indeed work and work well, but all the bad I keep hearing about it makes me wonder why the kits (and I almost bought a kit a while ago for $600- 3 lenses, most of the filters, hoods, &c) go for so much more than the camera is obviously worth, except for the wonderful optics?

Quirky. Voigtlander Glass. You want a Vitessa T. Toilet Plunger advance, selenium meter, interchangeable lenses. Faster handling than a Prominent.

The color rendition is wonderful, and sharper than a Xenar.

The lens on the Vitessa doesn't seem to have the typical "Tessar Target Bokeh" when used wide open- is it a 4 element lens?

I was noticing the lack of donuts from the OOF nightlight as well! The F3.5 Color-Skopar on the Vitessa N exhibits the donuts; but this one does not! The Vitess-N is not as bad as the Nikkor F1.4. I think the Skopars are Tessar varients; but will check when I get home and re-post.
