After years of wide-to-normal focal lengths I've used SLR with longish zoom, mostly at long end. You know? It doesn't hurt!

As I had reserve of speed because of EI1000, I didn't really care about shutter speed and set XR-P to keep speed above or 1/250 + automatic aperture, changing between Depth and Aperture bias modes, sometimes locking exposure to free meter from taking decision.
Downside: even with release grip, XR-P is too small for long lenses and my hands. Winder or motor would help balancing camera, or XR-X would be better choice for this occasion. XR-P is best with smaller lenses, for me.
