Dark viewfinder?

Hello

I recently accquired a m2. The owner had the viewfinder of a m6 built in.
But the viewfinder seems quite dark to me, while the patch is very bright.
My question now is if your viewfinder is as bright as your natural view ( I hope you understand) or is it darker?

The M6 viewfinder is slightly darker than the "real world" If you doubt the camera, have it checked over by your local friendly Leica technician. It is kind of a pity that he had the VF changed, the M2 one is preferable imo.
