I picked up a Contax TVS on eBay a few months back. Been shooting away merrily since. Great little camera. This week it started to play up - when switched on, the green display beneath the viewfinder just blanks out and the shutter doesn't fire. I've replaced the battery and cleaned the contacts but nothing. No sooner do I manage to get it started up I hear the autofocus clicking away repeatedly then it just drops dead. Most frustrating. Anyone have any idea what it could be?
