Hey gang,

So I ordered some Rollei Ortho 25 to play with in my Mamiya 7 for landscape, and perhaps in my RZ for some Karsh-inspired men's portraits. After extensive internet searching, it seems that most people develop this in Rodinol or the Rollei developers. I have typically been using XTOL or DD-X for most of my developing. I am curious as to whether anyone has used this film with any other developers other than Rodinol or Rollei LC, and how you liked the results. I've read mixed reviews on D76, and can't find anything else.

Thanks!

Well you can try all kind of variants but the best results you will get in a low contrast developer:
Rodinal 1+50 - 1+100 or the Rollei Low Contrast developer or simmilar type. Diafine is also an option.
RLC is an Udo Raffay receipt.

Greetz,

Robert

I have a bunch of this shot and need to develop it. I have the Rollei Low Contrast developer to use and will get to it soon. Freestyle sells it and it's easy to use now that I've gotten past the bugs of learning Rollei developers.

Good luck with it.
