The R2* cameras are current production. The R2 is generally available used only.
The R2M is a slight update of the R2 with a more informative meter display, and some say slightly better build quality as Cosina's production technique improved from making Zeiss Ikons.
The R2A is built on the same chassis as the R2M but has an electronic shutter and so, therefore, can have an automatic mode.
