Greetings Everyone-
Well I just received a nice Zorki-6 from a seller on eBay the other day. It has been my first camera that I have managed to afford in about 3 months and it has been well worth the wait! From the start I could immediately tell the difference between it and my Fed-2. Sweet viewfinder and smooth operation. Even came with a Jupiter-8.
So, I just had to take it out for a test roll. Before I got to use it, I double checked the Horizontal RF Infinity focus and noticed it was out of wack. The screw that adjusted it was continually coming loose and needed to be tightened inside. No problem, right? Pop off the cover and screw down the clamp that holds it. Now, it works fine. I used this guide (http://muj.proit.cz/roman/z6disass/).
HOWEVER, getting everything back in place proved more challenging than I thought it would be. There are a few things that I am not sure of:
1) 2 small identical black metal washers fell out from under the cover
2) Where do I reconnect the BOTTOM of the advance spring that lies under the frame counter?
3) Do 2 medium identical brass washers get stacked under the black double gear?
I MADE THIS DIAGRAM TO MAKE THIS A LOT EASIER:

Any information would be very much appreciated. I am used to tinkering with my cameras but sometimes I mess up and need some help. Ahh but that's half the fun...

Well-known
The advance spring catches the long bolt that goes through the top right there.

It all makes sense!
It all makes sense!
For those who have been following this thread.......
It looks like I got it put back together right and it works great. The mysterious black washers went under the speed selector head and the brass ones stayed under the black removable gear. The spring was latched under the large bolt that holds the top on the base.
It looks like I have a camera that will retain its Horizontal RF Adjustments for now. One little annoying thing that I am working on though is the fact that the advance arm does not snap back as quick as I would like. However, I think I will be able to tighten up the spring ok.
thanks for your help!
