Hi!
I just tested out a Leica Digilux 2 for two days. Here are som pictures. I really like the grain and colors. No need for editing.

I have its twin camera, the Panasonic LC1. The lens is awesome, and the aging 5MP camera still can deliver. I use RAW setting at ISO 100 most of the time. The camera can isolate subtle differences in colors very well.

I still have my L1 although I do not use it as much as I should. Its an interesting camera though somewhat too big in the hand. But the real thing that bugs me is the poor battery life. Never the less it handles color exceedingly well. And its images convert nicely to black and white (in fact even in camera black and white is good)

Nice colors coming out of that sensor. Very Fuji-like.
How big a print have any of you made with the Digilux 2/LC1 files?

Thank you Raid and Jamie.
I waited years for Panasonic / Leica to take the next step with the D2 ..... same lens design + larger sensor (4/3 ?). But they let me down.

Shot with the Panasonic L1 and an Olympus 35mm f3.5 macro lens for 4/3. I don't think this shows the characteristic color handling but I quite like it anyway.

I would still have mine if not for that horrid E.V.F. I never made peace with it. I do miss the wonderful images it produced.
