Don't know what to think of it.. On the one hand it's as dumb as it can get; obviously the digital part is an ultra cheap low resolution USB camera, the film lens probably is from the crappy department.. On the other hand, it's brilliant. Shoot in B&W and you can have a sort of contact sheet in a jiffy without mucking about with chemicals. Now, if only the taking lens were decent..

With the tiny digital compacts like the optio and similar I sometimes wish I had a hot-shoe to tripod thread adaptor so I could just affix a little digital camera on top of my real camera, and use the digital as a fill flash/viewfinder. Oh plus I guess it could take a pic too!.

This reminds me of the debate about audio stereo equipment - is it better to buy an all-in-one or buy separate components. The disadvantage of the all-in-one is that if one thing goes wrong, you have to take the whole thing to be repaired. Now you are without anything.

Given the differences between film and digital processes, I'd like to know how they managed to hook this thing together. As mentioned above, it probably is a jerry-built contraption that won't serve much purpose for anything.
