Digital Back for Minolta 7000

Many years ago I saw a Minolta (Maxxum) 7000 in an article but fitted with a digital back. I've just traced the article only it was a chapter in a book called "The Complete 35mm Source Book" by Michael Busselle.

I managed to get a picture of the page showing it and would like to know if anyone out there knows anything about it. Even the model name for the back would help...
