The camera I love and that will stay when all the rest is gone is my Voigtländer Bessamatic.

At the moment I have to less time and passion to use film so I thought about a digital solution.
The Sony A7 is great - but I wanted the real SLR feeling with an optical finder.
I´m a guy who is nearly never buys something new when there are good alternatives 2nd hand on the market - so I thought about a Nikon D700 for which I allready have some glas and I´m used to my Nikon D70 which means that I know the Nikon buttons.

a local Dealer had some cameras in his store but no D700 or similar - but he had a Canon EOS 5D MK I for 350,-€ with battery grip in a nearly new condition and a DKL to Canon EF adapter too so I could try this combination.

Ok - I was hooked and bought it :D

Changed the focusing screen for the Ee and now have real the feeling of using an old SLR, but just digital.

Schneider Kreuznach Retina Curtagon 4.0 28mm
This lens gets troubles when focused to infinity, because the rear lens hit the mirror!

The lens that really got me is the Voigtländer Zoomar 2.8 36-82mm the 1st Zoom lens for still photo ever!
