Disappearing light leak?

I just finished my first roll of film in the 'new' M3, and noticed random light leaks on the right side of the image, at various shutter speeds, all in outdoor lighting. The leak was pronounced at first, but gradually faded and was just barely noticeable in the next to last frame. It did not appear in every frame.

Anyone experience something similar? Could this be related to an interval of disuse? No obvious gunk present on the shutter curtains. No history available on the camera, as it came from KEH.
 
Has to do with hand position, where the leak is, how bright ambient light is, how fast you advance film for next picture.

Return for repair with sample film. Leaks do not come and go.
