I tried my new macro extension tube set up today.
I only used the adapters (Camera side and lens side plus my M>m43 adapter with my Zeiss 50mm f/1.5 C-Sonnar.
The Adapters without any extension tubes in between are about 14mm deep.
I found the best way to focus was to the LCD with Zoomed Image at 10x in my G1.
These are all hand held and quite frankly, a tripod may have been more cumbersome where I was.
Even at 1/160s, a slight move can make image just a tad soft, but still pretty good.
I get about a 4" area of image.
Feel free to post your macros images with your legacy lens and extension tubes, and any tips you have to share for better results. (I have a 105mm f/2.8 Macro, but no adapter yet).
I am more interested in macro imaging with a non macro legacy lens with extension tubes for this discussion.
